Terms & Conditions

• Peter Sagan’s Pick promotion (“Promotion”) runs from October 1 to October 15, 2024 (“Promo Period”) and is open to riders residing in Taiwan only.
• During the Promo Period, any rider residing in Taiwan who purchases an S-Works Prevail 3, S-Works Evade 3, S-Works Recon, or S-Works Torch from Specialized.com or a Specialized Authorized Retailer in Taiwan will have the chance to participate in the Peter Sagan’s Meet & Greet event (“Event”), which will be held in Taipei on October 30, 2024 night.
• The Promotion and the Event are organized by Specialized Bicycle Components Taiwan Limited (“Specialized”). Specialized reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions herein at any time. By participating in the Promotion or the Event, participants are deemed to accept and agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the terms on Specialized.com (including Terms of Use and Privacy Policy). If there are any doubts regarding the Promotion, the Event, and the terms and conditions herein, they will be subject to Specialized's determination and interpretation.
• The participation quota for the Event is limited to 80 spots, allocated based on the order of purchase by the riders and the order of registration for participation.
• Riders who purchase from a Specialized Authorized Retailer must express their intention to participate in the Event through the registration form provided by the Specialized Authorized Retailer and provide a copy of their purchase receipt for verification.
• Riders who purchase from Specialized.com will receive a registration invitation sent by the system to confirm their intention to participate in the Event.
• Riders must complete their registration and confirm their intention to participate in the Event by 11:59 AM on October 18, 2024. Failure to do so will be considered a refusal to participate in the Evern.
• If the participation quota for the Event is filled before the end of the Promo Period, Specialized will announce it on its official social media channel.
• Specialized will send an event admission confirmation via email to riders who qualify to participate in the Event (“Eligible Riders”) by October 25, 2024. On the day of the Event, Eligible Riders must present the email above and provide identification documents for verification before being allowed to enter and participate in the Event.
• The Event participation quota is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-accompanied, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other prizes.
• Specialized reserves the right to refuse participation in the Event to any Eligible Riders who do not meet the necessary safety and management criteria for the Event.
• Eligible Riders must comply with applicable laws and follow Specialized's instructions regarding the Promotion and the Event. Failure to cooperate will be considered as giving up eligibility. Any other matters not covered herein will be handled in accordance with applicable laws.
• Specialized may process your personal data internally or through external data processors. External processors will handle your personal data in accordance with relevant data protection regulations. As Specialized operates globally, this means that Specialized may transfer your personal data to other countries in accordance with applicable data protection laws. • To the extent permitted by law, Specialized, its employees, agents, or retailers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death resulting from participation in the Promotion and the Event.
• Specialized excludes all legal liability for any loss of income, profit, reputation, data, opportunities, or any direct or consequential loss or damage incurred by participants as a result of participating in the Promotion and the Event, whether such loss or damage is direct or indirect.
• Participation in the Promotion or the Event does not confer any legal rights. Specialized is not responsible for any inability of participants to participate in the Promotion or the Event for any reason.
• If participants are injured while participating in the Promotion or the Event, Specialized will not be held liable.
• Specialized will not be responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these terms and conditions, as long as the cause is (directly or indirectly) beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labor disputes, accidents, natural disasters, and disruptions, loss, or failure of facilities, communication, or computer software or hardware services.
• To the extent permitted by law, no warranties of any kind are provided for the Promotion and the Event, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
• If participation in the Promotion or the Event requires guardian consent, Specialized reserves the right to refuse such participation and disclaims any responsibility in this regard.
