43 Years of Jumpin' Stumps
In '81, we unleashed the first Stumpjumper, flipping the switch on mountain biking worldwide. Fast forward through 43 years of blood, sweat, and dirty-toothed grins, and we're dropping the 15th full-suspension Stumpjumper.
Stumpjumper 15 is here to obliterate every trade-off in the trail game. Devour bumps like a big bike? Check. Short-travel control, playfulness, and efficiency? Double check. How about a heaping helping of personalization to make it perfect for the only rider who really matters- you? Check, check, check.
" This Stumpy keeps expanding my perception of how hard it can be ridden. It's nuts. It begs you to air into sections that you used to brake into." - Matt Hunter

Suspension, geometry, chassis, sizing, and spec work together to calmly dispatch every condition from big hits to steep descents to technical climbs.
GENIE - The Magic

- - Coil spring bump performance
- - Air spring bottom-out prevention
- -Tunable platform for a poppy feel
Best of Both Worlds with GENIE
Poppy and Playful, plus a Bottomless DH Feel.
GENIE is a patent-pending air-spring shock technology that we invented. It combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring thorugh the "bump zone" with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the storke to avoid bottom-outs. Truly, it's the best of both worlds- coil and air - with extra tuneability. Say goodbye to compromises and hello to the future of riding.
" THE ALL-NEW STUMPJUMPER WITH GENIE FEELS LIKE IT HAS SO MUCH MORE TRAVEL THAN IT DOES ON PAPER. THAT THING EATS THROUGH TRAILS!"

Eats Bumps Like an Enduro
16.3% better bump force management than 'Bike of the Year' Stumpjumper EVO
GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 ride like a bike with more travel because it actually does eat most bumps like a bigger-travel bike. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 (with 145 mm rear wheel travel) and our Endro (170 mm travel) both use 101 mm of the travel to absorb a 1080 N bump force. Same bump, same travel used, game changed.

57% Better Traction Than a Standard Air Spring
GENIE delivers 57% less traction loss time' than a standard air-sprung shock because GENIE technology gives you supple, coil-like performance, which keeps the wheel in contact with the ground a greater percent of the time than a typical air spring would. Contact equals traction, and traction equals control.
"Traction loss time" is the sum of all times the rear wheel is slipping with respect to the front. It is measured by comparing front and rear wheel rotational speeds while riding.
Bye, Bye, Bottom Outs
GENIE makes harsh bottom-outs vanish
"GENIE lets me run lower pressure to smooth out the trail, but it's there on the big stuff when I need it. It nearly eliminates bottom-outs, and when it does, it's never harsh." - Matt Hunter
Bye, Bye, Bottom Outs
30% fewer severe bottom outs compared to a standard air spring*
During big hit events, you benefit from the rising rate in the last 30% of the GENIE stroke. Because of the to-stage, pronounced rising rate, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-outs.
"Severe Bottom Out" is defined as bottom-out events where the shock bottom lasts for one-tenth of a second or more.

GENIE Devours Bumps and Provides a Playful Platform
GENIE provides a platform you can trust in the turns or when pumping the backside. The second-stage rising rate makes for a fun, playful bike that can still plow like a bike with much more travel. Truly "best of both worlds" rideability.
"One of my favorite traits of the new Stumpy is that it somehow manages to feel both soft and poppy. Those used to be opposites. - Matt Hunter
