CLIMATE ACTION
Today, more than two-thirds of all car trips are 10 miles or less, these are also the most carbon-intensive trips for any car, gas or electric. Trading in car trips for bike trips is the single thing we all can do to address climate change. To support more riders, we’re growing our e-bike and active options (fitness, transport, commute) and innovating to tackle barriers including safety and access. Evident with our support for the E-BIKE ACT in the United States, we’ll continue to partner with industry organizations, starting with People For Bikes, to advocate for state, local, and federal policies that promote increased access and safer streets.
We have partnered with the Outdoor Industry Associations Climate Action Corps to help us understand and reduce our climate impacts. In addition, our facilities team has initiated a project to power water bottle production and the Win Tunnel with solar energy.
